How Blown Insulation Works

Our Blown Insulation is a Non-Toxic Fiberglass Mineral Wool. We are able to provide R values from R-11 to R-60 (4″-20″). We also offer insulation removal and air sealing which are key factors for reducing energy costs. To ensure your insulation does not block your airflow we also have the option to add baffles and soffit vents.

You are due for an update if your insulation is compressed, dark, or dirty, as this can affect your air quality and heat resistance. R-values measure your insulation’s resistance to heat flow (heat absorption) and this is a good place to start when determining if you need more insulation. Make sure your R-value meets at least the minimum requirements based on your geographic location. Recommended values in Houston, Texas will be different than those in other states.
